SB 216763 is potent and selective glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) inhibitor (Ki = 9 nM); competes with ATP. IC50 value: 9 nM (Ki) Target: GSK-3α SB 216763 has minimal activity against 24 other protein kinases (IC50 > 10 μ M). Stimulates glycogen synthesis, gene transcription and is neuroprotective.
