Description:
S-2222 is chromogenic substrate for factor Xa. When catalyzed by factor Xa, it releases a free pNA which could be detected by a spectrophotometer at 405 nm wavelength.Chromogenic substrate S-2222 can be used in many applications. For example, it is a key reagent in antithrombin tests (anti-FXa approach).
