(±)-ANAP hydrochloride is the amino acid analog of prodan, acts as a fluorescent probes, and enhances environmental sensitivity with comparable or increased brightness^[1] . (±)-ANAP hydrochloride is sensitive to polarity with changes in intensity and emission wavelength^[2] .
