It has been demonstrated that the RGD-containing peptide, c(GRGDSPA), inhibited the binding of fibronectin to stimulated platelets with IC??= 0.223 μM. c(GRGDSPA) also blocked thrombin-induced platelet aggregation with IC??= 32 μM, but was less potent than native fibronectin in this respect.
