Corticotropin Releasing Factor (CRF) is a hypothalamic peptide that releases ACTH and endorphin from the anterior pituitary. Corticotropin Releasing Factor is also a neurotransitter in the central nervous system, and is involved in autonomic and endocrine responses to stress.
