MitoLite CMXRos红色染料是美国AAT Bioquest生产的用于线粒体标记的试剂 ，MitoLite Red CMXRos与MitoTracker Red CMXRos（ThermoFisher）在化学结构上完全相同。MitoLite CMXRos红色染料是一种阳离子染料，可选择性地积聚在线粒体中，它的累积取决于膜电位。线粒体指示剂是一种疏水性化合物，很容易透过完整的活细胞，并在进入细胞后被线粒体捕获。这种荧光线粒体指示剂长时间保留在线粒体中，因为该指示剂带有细胞保留基团。这一关键特性显著提高了染色效率。MidoLite CMXRos红色染料在醛固定后保留良好。
