这种双功能的Cy5.5生物素偶联物具有出色的抗生物素蛋白结合能力和强荧光。就高亲和力,快速缔合以及非合作性结合抗生物素蛋白和链霉亲和素四聚体而言,它具有与天然生物素相似的抗生物素蛋白结合特性。Cy5.5生物素可用于检测和定量抗生物素蛋白,链霉亲和素或中性亲和素的生物素结合位点。该试剂克服了常用的生物素4-荧光素的主要缺点,例如在水性介质中的溶解性差以及与pH有关的吸收和发射问题。Cy5.5生物素是一种水溶性试剂,其红色荧光的pH值独立于pH 4至pH 10之间。
