Texas Red 马来酰亚胺是美国AAT Bioquest生产的荧光染料 ，TR C2马来酰亚胺是标记含硫醇生物分子（例如多肽、蛋白质和硫醇修饰的寡聚核苷酸）非常理想的硫醇反应性荧光试剂。它选择性地与含硫醇基团的多肽、蛋白质、和其它的生物分子（如硫醇衍生的有机小分子）反应。它与TR偶联物具有相同的光谱特性，因此所有TR缀合体系都能用TR C2马来酰亚胺实现。
